City Services
The City of Jacksonville has a one call number to address all your needs. You can call 904-630-CITY or visit coj.net on the web.

Regular Trash Collection – every Wednesday morning except holidays. Trash should be placed on the curb no earlier than Tuesday evening. Some items such as hazardous waste, motor oil, paint, used appliances, computers etc. are not allowed in your regular trash collections.

Yard Waste Collection – every Thursday morning except holidays. Trash should be placed onthe curb no earlier than Wednesday evening.

Used Appliance Collection - Do not set used appliances on the curb until you call the city to schedule a pickup! Otherwise the appliances could set at the curb for weeks causing an eyesore and a danger to children and vehicles.
Residents may recycle these appliances curbside after scheduling for collection through (904) 630-CITY:
*Refrigerators, Freezers, Washers & dryers, Dishwashers, Window air conditioners, Trash compactors, Furnaces, Garbage disposals, Stoves & ranges, Microwaves, Water heaters

For the safety of children, our crews and animals, please secure or remove any doors before placing appliances at the curb. Additionally, please remove food or other contents from appliances.
Please remember to pre-arrange pickup by calling (904) 630-CITY. Major appliances are prohibited by law in landfills and therefore are collected separately from household garbage.

Law Enforcement – Johns Creek is under the jurisdiction of the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office(JSO). They can be reached for non-emergency situations by calling 630-0500. Never dial 911unless you have a genuine emergency.

Traffic Enforcement – the JSO will respond to complaints regarding chronic speeding on an as available basis. We are in Zone 3, Division H.

Street Lights – are the responsibility of the Jacksonville Electric Authority (JEA). If a street light is out contact JEA at http://www.jea.com/contact.asp or 665-6000.

Pot or Sink Holes – are the responsibility of the City of Jacksonville (COJ). If you notice a pot or sink hole in our Johns Creek neighborhood, please contact 630-CITY.

Parking on the Street – removing or ticketing of vehicles that are parked on Johns Creek streets or blocking sidewalks is the responsibility of the City and JSO. Please call the non-emergency number (630-0500) to report vehicles.
